                                                                Blog entry: Interview #1

                I recently had the pleasure of interviewing Khristaness Bernardo. She grew up in Oxnard, but then moved to Santa Barbara. After High School she decided to move back to Oxnard to help out one of her brothers. Khristaness is currently attends both Santa Barbara Community College and Oxnard College. One of the things she likes about attending Oxnard College is that it is so close to her house, and is less of a commute than Santa Barbara. As most dedicated college students, Khristaness busy schedule consists of work Monday thru Friday from seven A.M. to whichever time she is done with her work. Her school schedule is made up of a class at Santa Barbara on Monday and Tuesday nights and a class on Wednesday nights at Oxnard College. With such a busy schedule Khristaness feels like she is always on the go and she hardly has time to spare to spend time with her family or boyfriend. But she knows that it will all be worth it when she gets into the Radiology Program and then gets her first job as a Radiology Technician. By accomplishing this she doesn’t have to be in a job in which she doesn’t look forward to going to or that she will be struggling pay check to pay check. Khristaness says that she has had someone motivate her this whole time and that has been her High School P.E. teacher. He has always believed in her and has always been like a fatherly figure to her by teaching her how to grow as a person in life and to keep on trying her hardest.
